Christmas and the end of the year is a special time that gives us the opportunity to reflect on the successes achieved and to express our gratitude to those who have placed their trust in us and to those who continue to do so.
Christmas is also a time to appreciate meaningful relationships and makes the meaning of family even more special.
It is precisely from the family legacy and the desire not to lose tradition that my Luce di Sorrento project was born. My family has been growing Sorrento PGI lemons for 4 generations in a lemon grove of more than 500 plants that this year celebrates its first 100 years . I still remember my grandparents in the lemon grove overlooking Capri, a magical place, the land of Ulysses' sirens.
After twenty years in Lombardy with a career as general manager of a pharmaceutical company and after being elected woman of the year by Forbes in 2019 and receiving the Women Value Company award , I felt fully fulfilled as a manager and wanted to return to my homeland to dedicate myself to something else.
I wanted the tradition carried forward by my family since 1923 not to be lost, but I also wanted to bring innovation. Knowledge of nature is something that is passed down from generation to generation and it is thanks to this that the desire to give life to a project that tells the story of me, my family and my origins was born: Luce di Sorrento , a niche project with a great deal of research behind it, also in collaboration with the academic world.
The lemons of my land are present in all our neurocosmetics with the exclusive component of Sorrento lemon essential oil steam distilled for 6 hours and matured in our laboratories for months. This process makes it a very high quality oil with antioxidant properties and beneficial effects on the mind . Ours is, among other things, the first cosmetic line authorized by the Sorrento lemon protection consortium which also has the objective of preserving the territory by promoting the cultivation of Sorrento lemons and protecting biodiversity since the Sorrento lemon obtained the IGP in 2000.
The essential oil is present in 3 innovative complexes developed by our research:

▪️ Light-C® Liposomes : to renew, revitalize, regenerate and even out the complexion for perfect radiance.
2023 has been a year of challenges and growth, and you, our customers and store partners, have been an integral part of every success we have achieved.
The line began with our GLOBAL LUX CREAM , PREMIUM LUX OIL and PERFECTION LUX SERUM , grew with the eye contour, essence and gentle cleanser up to this year's latest innovation: the illuminating gel mask PRESTIGE LUX FACE MASK .
Our approach is holistic thanks to the use of Sorrento lemon essential oil which guarantees an intense neurocosmetic action with a double effectiveness both on the skin and on the mind to combat stress and anxiety. The power of nature has always been at the center of our concept of beauty and for this reason in our high cosmetic products and treatments we have decided to exploit the action of Sorrento lemon, SorrentoExtra Virgin Olive Oil and selected ingredients with 100% natural active ingredients.
With our cosmetics we do not only want to take care of the skin , but also of the well-being of the person by embracing the philosophy of Psycare . In fact, clinical studies demonstrate how the scent of lemon has an energizing and relaxing action at the same time. Thanks to the slow steam extraction process we are able to extract the purest, most concentrated and powerful molecules with a double action: calming on the mind and nervous system, but also with different actions for the skin such as anti-aging , illuminating, sebum-regulating ,lightening and soothing .
